They have Too Human, Alan Wake, Halo Wars, Fable 2, Star Ocean, Gears 2, the next Crash game, prey 2, Splinter Cell, Banjo Kazooie, Tales of Vesperia... That's just announced so far. Sony can't just do whatever the hell it wants and still be sitting pretty. They have to make a profit to keep their investors happy. You all say Sony will just answer any price cut M$ makes like it doesn't have to report to anyone. They've got thousands of people ready to take back 50% of their capital if they think it's being used wrong.
I'd hate to know my $10,000 just got spent so they could continue to lose money.
Sony should also start including a rainbow generator in all PS3's to ensure all PS3 owners always have something pretty to look at. Maybe instead of hot air it can start blowing flowers, chocolate and happiness out of it's fans too! Man... looks like sony's got it easy. After they do that just pop it in neutral and coast.

He said that they would only port the game if they didn't have to make compromises. You don't make many compromises when you port to very similar architecture.
He said he wanted to get PC and console to play together. 360 already has that capability, and proven to work pretty well.
Blizzard already works closely with M$ for windows compatibility in their games. Easy portability to the system.

The 360 is a lot more like a PC in the way it processes code. That in mind, it would not only be an easier port, but also easier to get to work with PC versions of the game.
Also, KB/M is only a huge advantage in RTS. It has debatable advantage in FPS, but in hack n slash, driving, and fighters controllers actually play a lot better 9 times out of 10.
It's more similar to diablo than anything japanese.
... and did you play the game already? because I don't know how you can judge all the cutscenes in the game off of the one released teaser.
The main story in a lot of open world RPGs is really short. Oblivion you could finish really quickly. Especially because the levels were generated off your level.
Fable you could do quickly too, but you had to skip at least 2/3 of the content.
With a leveling, class, and gear system.
People should be comparing it to God of War, NG2, and Heavenly Sword. Don't compare it to Oblivion or any of the FFs, because they aren't even similar.
edit: I'm not saying it's not short, I'm just saying not to compare it to those games.

Where did you hear that? It's got good replay value. Each level is supposed to scale by your level in loot dropped and difficulty every time you replay them. You can play co-op, and each class plays completely differently.
Replay will be fine.
The thing that hurts it most isn't the gameplay time, it's that half the stuff going on around snake isn't affected at all by him. He was running straight through a bunch of explosions and what should be crossfire without taking any damage or it phasing him at all.

Agree completely. Every time I see someone say that they can't believe all the people hating on the game, I am at a loss for words. I can count the haters in this thread on one hand.
You go to a 360 thread saying something is good, I almost guarantee you will see 5 people saying that some PS3 game was better, RROD will be mentioned at least twice, somebody will bring up M$ and the fact that they are the devil, the fact that people would rather play it on a PC will be brought up a...
Bioshock and Cod4 are much better. Their stories and the way they were presented were incredibly innovative and had unbelievable immersion.
they're some of the best games that use game to tell the story, rather than cutting away from game and just using movie to tell the story. That's the next step in using games for stories, not making the movies in the games longer.
